Donate

Goodwill KYOWVA is so thankful to have a strong community of donors, like YOU, in the areas in which we serve. Your donations directly fund our mission services programs that impact the lives of others on a daily basis.  When you donate your items, 88 cents of every dollar sold in our retail stores support Goodwill’s Counseling and Therapy Services, Employment and Training, Consumer Credit Counseling, Hire Attire, Recycling, and Industrial and Janitorial Contracts. These services allow people with disabilities and/or disadvantaging conditions the chance to achieve independence, feel empowered through work, and overcome the obstacles they often face.

Donations to Goodwill may be tax-deductible (consult IRS Tax Guide 526 for deduction guidelines) as Goodwill KYOWVA is a local 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Recent changes to IRS regulations states that all donations must be in good, used condition or better in order to be tax deductible. Donors set the fair market value of their own donations.

See your donation at work! Our Donation Impact Calculator shows the direct impact of your donations from an environmental, mission, and tax savings perspective.
